Charming gestures that won’t break the bank

Romancing someone doesn’t need to be THAT costly.

Let’s say that you after three years of work you were granted a week’s off, which isn’t the best part yet, being that it would be paid as the most most thrilling aspect.  So, what would you do on that precious time with your beloved?  Surely, what would play into mind is to surprise them with the most romantic and heartfelt gestures to make them feel that they are still and will be the most important person in your life.

Hope you can get some ideas on what I’ve come up.

1.  Cook your partner’s favorite dish.

A trip to the supermarket to buy the ingredients will not really cost a lot, won’t it.  Instead of making a reservation at a high-end restaurant, a good meal over dinner with the dish’s aroma filling up the place can definitely make your partner feel your effort, big time.

2.  Rent the movie you watched on your first date.

Reliving your romantic beginnings will be another hit.  Going back to the days when the butterflies are flying in your stomach.  The effort would be so much felt as digging through the oldies is a daunting task.

3.  Make them breakfast.

Waking up to a hearty meal is a sure way to their hearts.  The breakfast doesn’t have to be that grand, just the good old pancake and bacon and eggs that you prepared yourself is the trick.

Surprising your partner with little gestures is probably the best way to show them that we wouldn’t opt for anything during our free time but to be with them.  Even just a simple conversation over coffee on a rainy afternoon will mean more than a costly opera show.  And romancing doesn’t have to cost you a month’s salary, just the simple yet most loving hugs will do the trick.
